Our History
MacIsaac & Company, with offices in Victoria, Duncan, Nanaimo and Courtenay, is the foundation from which The MacIsaac Group of Law Firms emerged. Its predecessor firm in Nanaimo, Harrison, MacIsaac & Co., was established in 1949, and in 1990 the present day firm of MacIsaac & Company was formed.
The Victoria office was opened in 1979 and has established a solid base in plaintiff personal injury work. The Duncan office opened in 1991 to better serve our many clients in the Duncan/Lake Cowichan area.
In 1990 The MacIsaac Group of Law Firms was established. Under the MacIsaac Group umbrella are associated offices located throughout Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, North Eastern British Columbia and Alberta. This association permits each lawyer to benefit from the Group’s expertise and decades of accumulated knowledge in virtually every area of law.
