Areas of Practice

Richard grew up in Lacombe, Alberta and graduated from the University of Alberta with his bachelor of commerce and laws degrees.  Richard was varsity athlete and played hockey for the Golden Bears.  A sole general law practitioner in Ponoka, Alberta since 1979, Richard sold his practice in 2004 and retired which did not last long as he found himself missing the practice of law and began working again with Noble and Kidd.  With our acquisition of Noble and Kidd, Richard now joins our group confining his practice to criminal defence.

Richard has many diverse interests and has contributed to the community of Ponoka by sitting on various boards and coaching and still participates actively in senior men’s baseball and hockey.  Richard’s passions also lie with the many environmental and animal rights organizations which he is a member of.
