The long-established firm of Nowosad & Company in Port Hardy, became a member of the MacIsaac Group in 1993. Dan Nowosad, together with Eldon Iverson, established their law practice in the North Island community back in 1976.

Over the years the practice flourished, and in the mid 1980’s Mr. Iverson became a Judge of the Provincial Court of British Columbia. In 1993, Brian Klaver, the former mayor of Port Hardy who had joined the law firm in 1981, was also appointed a Provincial Court Judge.

Dan Nowosad opened his Port McNeill office in 1995 to better serve his clients in that community.

Dan Nowosad has the distinction of being the most senior lawyer on Vancouver Island north of Campbell River. Mr. Nowosad represents over 160 companies in the Port Hardy and Port McNeill areas, and is the city solicitor for Port Hardy. He is an ‘avid duffer’, and is a founding member of the Seven Hills Golf and Country Club.
